Distinguished Faculty Awards

Two faculty members were honored with 2013 Faculty of Excellence Awards during Commencement ceremonies.

Camila Sigelmann was named the full-time Faculty of Excellence recipient for her 25 years of instructing and developing course content in the School of Apparel Design & Development.  Her classroom focus is to help students build both technical and professional career skills by working closely with local designers to stay current with clothing trends.  Sigelmann has a communications degree from the University of Washington and also graduated with an AA degree from Central’s apparel design program.

McLean-Riggs is known for her outstanding teaching and mentoring skills.
