Wood Technology Center hosts high school students for a “Try-A-Trade” event
As part of a District initiative to promote career programs among high school students, Seattle Central teamed with Seattle Public Schools earlier this week to host a “Try-A-Trade” event at the Wood Technology Center (WTC). Nearly 100 students visited the WTC to tour the state-of-the-art facility to learn more about career opportunities in the carpentry field. After the tour, students heard from a panel of current wood technology students about their experience in the program.
