Wood Technology Center
Our Wood Technology Center is a comprehensive, technical, and state-of-the-art training facility designed especially for the wood construction and woodworker professions in Washington State. We provide vocational education to the public and local industry in Cabinetmaking, Carpentry, and Marine Carpentry.
Carpentry
Our four-quarter Carpentry program is designed to prepare students for employment as apprentice carpenters. The carpentry program focuses on hands-on experience where students work on full size building and remodeling projects (with a crew) while learning the carpentry trade.
Cabinetmaking
Our five-quarter Cabinetmaking + Fine Woodworking program is designed to prepare students for employment in cabinetmaking, furniture construction, and fine woodworking. The course curriculum combines technical instruction with shop experience and precision training.
Marine Carpentry
Our six-quarter Marine Carpentry program is designed to prepare students for employment in wood and composites boat building, boat repair, or a related trade. The curriculum is designed to provide practical hands-on education. Students learn the craft by working on assigned boat projects.
