Have you dreamed of becoming a chef? Our Culinary Arts program features classical and modern techniques that cover a wide range of cooking styles from international cuisine to northwest cooking. You will finish the Culinary Arts program as a food system gatekeeper who understands sustainable principles and practices and how your choices impact the environment around you. We enhance your education through student use of our campus greenhouse and through our summer program with Skagit Valley farms.

Want to become a professional baking or pastry chef? Our Specialty Desserts & Breads program features comprehensive “hands on” and step-by-step training in pastry, chocolate, and cheese production (including food preservation). You’ll also learn sustainable practices through use of our innovative campus greenhouse.
