We are the Seattle Central Foundation. We raise funds and create endowments for scholarships, tutoring, emergency assistance, faculty development and to support the student programs of Seattle Central College.
We have raised funds to support our students, faculty and programs for over 30 years. This year, we gave more than $400,000 in scholarships to 160 students and $200,000 to our instructional programs, including student emergency assistance, faculty development grants and tutoring services.
We are the home of the Seattle Promise, a bold new initiative to provide a full scholarship to every low-income Seattle student with a 3.0 GPA. We host the annual gala event Believe, this year on May 21, 2014 at the Four Seasons in downtown Seattle.
We invite you to read our Annual Report, detailing the financial health of Seattle Central Foundation.
Chartered as a 501(c)3 organization in Washington in 1978, we are governed by our volunteer Board of Directors, community leaders who lead the Foundation in supporting the students of Seattle Central College. We are the official gift-receiving agency for Seattle Central College.
