Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (BAS)

The Healthcare Services Management program prepares students for critical roles in planning, coordinating and supervising healthcare delivery in a variety of professional settings. Learn to evaluate the factors that shape healthcare systems, manage a health services workplace efficiently and analyze relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Students will complete 180 credits of coursework, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Allied Health. Completing this program prepares graduates for rewarding work in a competitive field, with the knowledge and skills needed to advance in this in-demand career.

A minimum of one (1) year full-time healthcare work experience (or the equivalent) within the last five (5) years

An associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with at least a 2.5 overall GPA
   • Acceptable degrees include the following: AAS-T or AAS degree in an allied health field or an approved business field, AA, AS, AB, BA, or BS degree

Completion of ENGL& 101 with at least a 2.0

Math eligibility demonstrated in one of the following ways:
   • Completion of MATH& 146 or another approved statistics class with a grade of at least 2.0 in the past 5 years, or
   • Current eligibility for MATH& 146 or MATH 136

  • Hybrid courses provide students with the scheduling flexibility of fewer campus visits while covering the same materials as an equivalent class held entirely on campus. Hybrid classes usually have at least one on-campus meeting per week combined with a "virtual classroom" with online content, lessons and activities.
