Tuition reduced for out-of-state students

Starting in January 2015, the great value of education at Seattle Central College will get better for out-of-state students. A new operations tuition waiver will significantly reduce the cost of enrolling at Seattle Central for many non-resident students. For example, a non-resident (domestic) student taking 15 credits will see their tuition rate drop from $3,080 to $1,500 per quarter.

The Seattle Colleges District Board of Trustees implemented this new waiver in an effort to meet the educational needs of thousands of individuals who move to Seattle each year. Offering low tuition to new residents speaks to the District’s commitment to providing higher educational opportunities for individuals and their families throughout our region.
