New student portal to provide streamlined access to important online services
The Seattle Colleges District is proud to announce a new online student portal called “MyCentral.” The new tool will give new and current students at Seattle Central College a convenient way to access important information and links—such as the class schedule and registration—on any device, including laptops, smartphones and tablets.
MyCentral provides students with:
- A single login: Most Student Online Services will require only one login, and Student Identification (SID) numbers can be automatically retrieved.
- A Favorites Folder: Students can now save classes they want to take to a Favorites Folder, similar to putting items in an online shopping cart. Once their registration appointment time is met, they can register directly from the Favorites Folder.
- The ability to view classes and waitlist: Students can view their registered classes and waitlisted classes, as well as their completed and approved Education Plan.
- Reminders for critical dates: Critical registration messages such as Registration Appointment Time, Tuition Due Date and Amount will also be displayed in the portal.
The portal will be available starting Tuesday, May 12 and can be accessed using the Student/MyCentral link near the top of the homepage and on most webpages throughout the Seattle Central website.
