Susan Tsoglin named Classified Employee of the Year

Susan Tsoglin, a program manager in the Science and Math (SAM) Division, was voted Seattle Central’s Classified Employee of the Year by employees. According to thos e who work closely with her, Susan was nominated for her professionalism, dedication, open-mindedness and student-centered approach. She strives to make student learning possible though her work on the SAM schedule and by answering students’ questions.

She also supports faculty as part of her job. Susan reaches out to classified staff in other divisions to help when needed and works to foster a positive workplace culture. Recently, she helped organize and served as stage manager for the 2014 President’s Day celebration.

Wendy Rockhill, Ph.D., dean of SAM, said, “Susan is outstanding in every way. She’s warm and friendly. She’s proactive. She takes care of all aspects of SAM in a gracious and respectful way.”
