    The Association for Women in Computing/Puget Sound Chapter (AWC/PS) offers two scholarships.

    A) To a woman enrolled in an Information Technology program in a Puget Sound area college. This scholarship is in the amount of $750.

    B) To a woman whom is pursuing certification in an Information Technology related topic.     This Database Specialist - Senior provides technical database support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to three programs of the Community Health Services Division: Health Records Program (about 50% of time), Health Care for the Homeless Network (about 30%), and Youth Health Services (about 20%).     Responsible for custom report design/redesign, generation and maintenance in each of the three program areas:

    1. Health Records Program:develop, troubleshoot, design and distribute reports from the Infolinx Database and Data Repository using either Crystal or Microsoft Office report writing.

    2. Youth Health Services: populate a citywide database containing data on all programs funded by the Education Levy (SQL back end and Microsoft Access front end).

    3. Health Care for the Homeless: design and maintain annual, quarterly, monthly and ad hoc reports that enables program staff to store and retrieve client-level information on health care visits (SQL back end and Microsoft Access front end). Integrate data from multiple systems and sources into the three programs’ data systems . Validate data and reports generated for all three programs prior to distribution. Train staff on how to use/generate reports. Develop and update training materials and documentation for generating those reports (e.g., explaining to program staff or clinical site end-users how to run a report - how to filter, set parameters and run queries).
