    United Way of King County is seeking a highly talented individual to join our Operations Team as a PC Network Support Specialist to be responsible for the daily operation of all personal computers (PCs), peripheral devices and telephones tied to United Way of King County’s data and voice network.  This responsibility includes diagnosing problems, then determining the proper action and scheduling or performing fixes in a timely fashion.     As an integral member of Speakeasy’s IT Team, the Service Desk Technician – Branch Office Support provides end user incident management and performs basic PC hardware support for local and remote users.     Ensure that web content meets established communication, branding, and accessibility guidelines. Work directly with staff in multiple UWEO and campus departments to coordinate maintenance and development of web content. Assist with other web projects as needed, which may include web marketing activities, database-to-web projects, and ad hoc projects.

    Education REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or related field AND one year of editing experience, OR five years combined college education and editing experience; most editing experience should be in writing, communications, marketing or public relations.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Demonstrated experience in completing projects accurately and in a timely manner. A successful candidate will be quick to learn technical skills; will have demonstrated the ability to set priorities in successfully accomplishing complex projects; and will be successful working independently and with others on a team.
