1. What is your name?
Kris Hardy.
2. What subjects do you teach?
All classes! from level 1 to level 6.
3.How long have you taught at SCIE?
I have been a teacher here since 1994.
4.What is your education and teaching background?
I have a master’s degree from the University of Washington,
and I have taught in Washington State, Washington DC, France and Mexico.
5.Have you ever lived outside of the United States?
Yes, I was a student in Nancy, France and Munich, Germany for one year.
I hitch-hiked around western Europe for a year after that. My husband is from England, and we lived together in London.
In 2003, we went to Mexico for 4 months to study Spanish.
6.What are some of your hobbies?
I am crazy about sailing, scuba diving and bicycling.
7.Why do you like teaching at SCIE?
SCIE allows the teachers to be very creative, so the classes are taught in relaxed and fun ways.
Also, the students who come here are very enthusiastic and interesting!
8.What do you think are the benefits to attending our program?
Our classes are not large, so the teachers can spend time with every student. Also,
we are able to offer an interesting variety of classes, so there is something for everyone.
9.What is an interesting fact about you?
I am the TOEFL Queen!!
