Admission Requirements
To apply for admission to Seattle Central Community College, applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of enrollment, and submit the following:
- Completed International Student Application form. Apply now!
- Sponsor’s statement of support (also included in the paper copy and printable application)
- US $50 application and processing fee
- Bank Statements or a letter from the sponsor’s bank, indicating sufficient funds are available
- Copy of Passport (photo page only)
- Proof of English proficiency (NOT required for applicants to the Intensive English program)

Applicants under the age of 18
Applicants under the age of 18 who have not yet graduated from high school must also submit official high school transcripts for review. Applicants must have completed at least one semester in 10th grade at the time of application and have above-average results (B-average or higher) overall from grade 9 onward, or demonstrate ranking in the top 20% of their class in order to be accepted (more information on these requirements here).

Applicants transferring from other US institutions
Applicants transferring from other US institutions must, in addition to all the other admission requirements, provide the following:
– Completed Transfer Status Verification Form
– Copy of current I-20 form
Other opportunities
All applicants can apply for a Priority Admission Certificate to strengthen their F-1 visa application. Also, College Transfer and Fast Track applicants can request a Transfer Admission Guarantee letter from our university partners.
Agency cover letter
Educational agents submitting applications on behalf of their clients must include an official cover letter (see sample), on their office’s stationery, indicating they are applying on this student’s behalf.
