Finding Federal Grant Funding

Are you are interested in finding federal grant funding to advance the mission and strategic directions of the college? Search for federal grant funding opportunities:

Grants.gov provides a searchable database of currently available federal grants. You can also sign up for email notifications on all federal grants or on grants meeting criteria such as specific categories of funding activity (e.g. Education, Employment and Training, Cultural Affairs) or eligible recipients (e.g. Public and State Controlled Institutions of Higher Education). You can also ask to be notified about a specific funding program using its Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) identifier (see below).

The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) website includes a comprehensive database of federal programs that provide assistance of all kinds, including grant funding for local projects. You can use the database to view programs under a specific agency or keyword, get historical information on projects funded under that program, and find the CFDA identifier to set up email notifications on grants.gov to be notified when the program is open for applications.

Visit the Before Starting Your Proposal page for important questions to consider in reviewing potential opportunities.
