I started with the background image, then I added rollovers.
First, I copied (Ctrl + C) a map image of Antarctica from http://www.globosapiens.net/subapp_countries/app_data/maps/antarctica-map.jpg.
In Photoshop, created a new image. It set the same size as the copied image automatically.
I named the first layer as background, and I colored it white using the Paint Bucket Tool.
I added another layer and named it as paper.
I pressed "D" to set the colors to default.
I selected the Gradient Tool, and set it Reflected Gradient, and Difference mode.
I applied the Gradient Tool about ten times to make the effect of old paper.
I applied Filters - Stylize - Find Edges.
Using the Create a New Fill or Adjustment Layer button (or Ctrl+U), I checked Colorize and set hue on 49, saturation 49, and lightness -25. Add some noise.
Then, I got this image:

I added another layer.
I chose the Rectangular Marquee Tool, and selected rectangle almost as big as the document but little smaller, then I painted it in black.
I pressed Ctrl+D to deselect it, then I paint the rest of the document in white.
I set the colors to default. (D)
I applied Filter - Brush Strokes - Spatter, and set spray radius 13, smoothness 5.
Using the Magic Wand Tool, I selected the white part of the document, then I went to the paper layer, and pressed the Delete key. The selected white part from the other layer deleted the edges of the paper layer. I deleted the other layer.
I created a new layer. Painted it white, and dragged it under the paper layer. This is what I got.

On the map layer, I pressed Ctrl+SHIFT+U to desaturate it. (I could get the same result by setting the Saturation to -100.)
I copied the layer.
I clicked Ctrl+I to inverse the colors and set the mode to color dodge. The picture becomes just white.
I applied Filters - Blur - Gaussian Blur. I used 45 radius.
Merge the layers by clicking linking them first and pressed Ctrl+E. Here’s what I have so far.

Now, the layer with the map is over the layer with the piece of paper.
I selected the map and then the paper layers by clicking the layers while holding the Ctrl key.
The edge area is selected. Using Select - Inverse (Shift + Ctrl + I).
I pressed the Delete key. Visually, there is no change.
I set the layer mode of the map layer on Multiply.
I merge the map and the paper layers by clicking Ctrl + E.
Using the Burn Tool with a round brush of 30px size, set exposure of 10%, I went around the edges of the map and made the paper look like it's old and worn down.

First, I added text such as "Week 1" for each week's image.

Then, removed edgeds of the images in Photoshop. Then, I switched to ImageReady and pasted one at a time.

In ImageReady, I added the map layer and other images for each week. I planned to create Layer-Based Slices.
I selected the Week 1 layer.
I chose Layer - New Layer Based Slice.
With the Week 1 layer in the Web Content selected, I clicked on the Create Rollover State button at the bottom of the Web Content palette.
Now, an Over state was created.
With the Over state and the Week1 layer selected, I chose Inner Shadow from the Layer Styles pop-up menu at the button of the Layers palette. Then OK.
On the Web Content palette, I selected the Normal state, then I clicked on the Over state. I noticed the Inner Shadow layer style is applied in the Over state.
With the Over state and the Week1 layer selected, I clicked the Create Rollover State button at the bottom of the Web Content palette.
Now, a Down state is created.
While the Down state is selected, I double-clicked on the Inner Shadow layer style in the Layers palette.
In the Layer Styles dialog box, I change the Angle to -60 degrees, then OK.
To save and reuse the style, I create a new style by clicking the New Style button on the Style palette.
I named the style as Inner Shadow Rollover.
I selected Week 2 through Week 7 layers. I applied the Inner Shadow Rollover style.
However, the down state did not get applied, so I needed to apply individually.
While the Week 1 layer on the Layers palette and the Week 1 slice on the Web Content palette selected, I entered the url of the linked page as Assignment1/assignment1.html. I entered the value for ALT.
I applied the url for other weeks using the same method.
Once all rollover information is entered, I save it as an HTML file using Save Optimized As in the Web site.
I opened the Web page with the rollover image. I added some text, and centered all elements.
That's about it.
Thanks.
