ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ENGINEERING?

Even if you´re not sure you want to be an engineer, but you´re wondering what it´s all about, then you should check out RISE: Resources and Inspiration for Student Engineers!

RISE is a new program funded by the National Science Foundation meant to give extra support to students aspiring to become engineers. The goal of this program is to produce more engineers in the state of Washington. In particular, we want to encourage African American, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, Hawaiian-Pacific Islanders, and Women to become engineers.

10/12/05: Engineering Kick-Off! Meet other student engineers and learn more about the RISE Program.


11/02/05: Microsoft Corporation will visit and tell students what it takes to work as a Computer or Electrical Engineer.

11/16/05: Seattle University's Dean of Engineering visits to talk about the opportunities for engineering students at his institution.
