Include comments about the credibility and reliability of the source, as well as its relevance to your research in the annotation.
Part 2
Choose one Web site from Part 1 and use the evaluation checklist to do an in-depth evaluation. Comment on each of the 6 sections of the checklist: purpose, authority, accuracy, objectivity, currency, and coverage.
Part 3
Please respond:

  1. What search engine and strategy did you use to find the best WWW or Internet source?

  2. What do you think the greatest advantages and disadvantages of the World Wide Web are for research?

  3. How appropriate do you think the Internet is as a source of information for your topic? Are other kinds of information that are better? Why or why not.

Extra Credit
Choose a search tool from the Search the Web page. Using help pages and your search experience, design a search tip sheet that would help someone learn to use that search engine effectively.
Remember to explain what that search engine is good for and how the search works. Give hints on how to do a "Boolean" search and other features of the search engine. This assignment should be about a page with appropriate headings.
