EXPRESSIVE PRACTICE  (groups of 5 - 8)

First student in each group begin sentence with a time sign i.e. EVERY-WEDNESDAY

Second student on his/her left repeats the sign and then adds a part of the day, i.e.

                                                                                                                   
The next student repeats both signs and adds a clock time sign, i.e.  "TIME+7"

The next student repeats the sentence so far and adds a sign for a person.

The next student repeats all the signs and adds an activity verb sign.

This continues until two more activity signs have been added.

Then the next student repeats the whole sentence, ending it with the conjunction FINISH, and a final activity.

 

The next student starts a new sentence with another part of the day (i.e. AFTERNOON), or another day of the week (i.e. EVERY-THURSDAY), etc.

All steps are then repeated to create a new, complex sentence.
