ASL 122 - Describing Body Types
 

Part A:
With your partner, take turns and practice
signing the below sentences.  Describe each person, focusing on height, body type & shoulder sizeAlso, describe the hairstyles of each person.   Some of the sentences are incomplete so fill in the blanks using the ASL  sentence structure below using the specific sign order!  Remember to use size mouth markers!

  3. WOMAN SHORT-PERSON (oo)  DCL: bent-L "muscular" (cha)   DCL: bent-5 "thick curly hair brown"

  5. WOMAN THIN (oo)

Part B:
After signing sentences # 1-10,  partners are to switch sentences, take turns again and repeat the same sentences and add a RACE sign after the gender! Continue to fill in the blanks wherever needed!
