A/B:   Take turns and greet one another
                    
(Hello, Hi, What's up  or Good evening)

A/B:   Ask how each other is

A/B:   Ask for names

A/B:   Confirm or correct each other's names!  Use appropriate
           responses.

 

A/B:   Nice to meet you, bye!

A/B:   Look for new partner, wave to get their attention and repeat
             above conversation several times!

Use appropriate responses: head nod, head shake, OH-I-SEE
Correct or confirm or repeat or clarify when necessary
With
WH-questions, the WH sign  is at the end of the question.
Practice non-manual signals for WH - questions or Yes-No questions
 
                    

Dialogue:

A/B:  Greet one another and ask how each other is.

A/B:  Ask if Deaf or Hearing

A/B:  Ask if learning sign  or another language & which level (ASL 1, 2, 3..)

A/B:  Ask where learning sign

A/B:  Ask who the teacher is

A/B:  "Nice to meet you" and "Bye"

A/B:   Look for new partner, wave to get their attention and repeat

With Yes-NO questions, be sure to repeat the deixis sign at the end of the question.  Remember your  non-manual grammatical signals!

A/B:  Ask if Deaf (or hearing or hard-of-hearing)

A/B:  Ask if learning English 101 ( or ASL 122, French 223, Spanish 123)

A/B:  Ask if
UW student (or Roosevelt HS student, BCC, NSCC, SPU...)

A/B:  Ask if teacher's name is Nat Wilson (or Katie Roberts, Brenda Aron, etc.)

A/B:  Ask if take 5 classes

A/B:  "Nice to meet you" and "Bye"

A/B:   Look for new partner, wave to get their attention and repeat
