Transitions
For each chunk, the topic is identified with a time sign or transition word: EX: BUS go-up-hill, WALK down-hill) Did the space match up with their description of their commute?

Spatial agreement
The signing space is consistent and agrees with  previously signed sentences. (EX: ARRIVE SCHOOL, TIME 3, with eyebrows up) Was there a transition for every chunk?

Prosody
Emotions and feelings shown through hands and face and body. Did you see the signer use prosody?

Grammar markers

Sentence structure is accurate. Did the signer use full sentences, as with nouns, verbs and personal pronouns? For instance, did the signer remember to use sign order correctly such as BUS RIDE-IN, instead of using English structure which would be RIDE-IN BUS?

Correcting mistakes
Make the correction and then keep signing the story. Did the signer recognize the mistakes they made, change them and keep their cool while doing it?

Pacing and Flow
Is the story signed at a good pace, not slow, and not too fast? Did the signs flow into each other or were they choppy and unclear? Did the signer depend too much on their mental map or some other visual aid to complete their story?
