I use the scripting features in minicom to get instructor lists from the HP3K. Minicom only works in Windows.
Possible Improvements
- Run minicom in Wine on Linux - remote management and rebootage
use Autoit (http://www.autoitscript.com/) instead of minicom's scripting system. Might allow better
handling of error conditions and storage of variables, like password, quarter code etc...
