Mission
The purpose of the Admissions Office is to assist with the entry of prospective students into Seattle Central Community College.
In an effort to heighten community awareness, the admissions office is involved in a variety of outreach activities that inform the general public of the college's diverse academic offerings. To that end, we plan and organize high school visits, arrange on-campus visits for prospective students and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies and high school counseling staffs.
In order to maintain an effective, efficient and responsive admissions process we periodically review and revise admissions procedures, materials and data systems. We strive to maintain a customer service orientation in all of our dealings with the public. We realize that all individuals have the right to expect respectful, courteous and prompt service.
Every staff member fully embraces the idea that prospective students are the reason for our existence at this college.
